I have Vista and wanted a cheap, but decent webcam to work in Skype and Live Messenger. I installed the software, connected the camera and it works. Can't say fairer than that. It fits onto just about any monitor - TFT, laptop or whatever.

I had it set up by my computer wiz kid, who was here for a printing problem, so perhaps the negative views shown by some people were because the item wasn't set up right.

Good quality image for a budget Web Cam and clear audio thru the headset (the ear phone and mic is just bog standard so it remains to be seen how long they last however).
