Sony BDP S550 looks far better than the PS3 and sounds better to.
Ordinary DVDs upscale brilliantly. Easily made multi region on DVD.
Seems to work very well because we have a Sony Bravia link television.
Our Tv is only HD ready 1366x768 pixels and on a 1080p output it looks better... more info

Very good player and integrates nicely with Samsung TV. Only two gripes:
1. Incredibly slow to load and eject disks, I mean INCREDIBLY! You can make tea quicker.
2. Shipped not set to 1080p, watched my first Bluey thinking it was rubbish. Then read the book and realised my mistake.... more info
