I love the Eric Carle diaries, they are bright, fun and very suitable for 'grown-ups'. The pictures are fun and there is lots of room to write every appointment for each day.
I had the 2008 diary and I think this years is even better.

I love this advent calendar! For less than a fiver you get a calendar that with care can be re-used. You open up the calendar and Santa's castle is in the centre. Then behind each number is a punch-out figure that you postion around the castle.
