I purchased it Friday night and it arrived on Monday. So it looks like Amazon have fixed their problem sourcing the weights.
The metal bar is abrasive on bare hands (probably quite good if you use gloves though).... more info

If you're seriously considering buying some dumbells then I would go for the 20kg set instead of this 15kg chrome set.
15kgs isn't very flexible for a decent workout unless you're wanting to focus on high repetition or "bodypump" work; after a few weeks even someone who hasn't done any weights... more info

I received this step today and for the most part I am very pleased. The step itself is great, very sturdy and easy to adjust. You can use it at 3 different heights 6", 8" and 10". I would suggest that if you haven't excercised in a while or are new to stepping to use it at the lowest height.more info
