Unlike your first reviewer, I am very pleased with my wok. It was a replacement for another very similar wok, which now appears to be obsolete!
I never had any problems with the first wok I had which was also separate from the heating element,it never warped. So perhaps as I have only just... more info

I was disappointed that the wok is flat bottomed. this means that more oil needs to be used - more unhealthy? The plug does not stay connected unless it is pushed home firmly, and still is not reliable. I think that there should be a recess in the plug earth spigot to enable a good connection.
